“just, equitable, and sustainable world”

The U.S. arm of ActionAid International (AAUSA) aimed to raise awareness of its mission to build a “just, equitable, and sustainable world” while amplifying key policy objectives, including responses to global humanitarian crises. AAUSA needed to break through a media environment often focused on domestic issues over international crises and elevate its voice and visibility in order to stand out among organizations with similar advocacy goals.  In collaboration with their policy, development and communications teams, we developed a roadmap to position senior leadership as trusted thought leaders and go-to experts, clearly articulating the impact and relevance of AAUSA’s key policy objectives. We also created and executed media plans to spotlight signature international reports and studies, tailored for what would resonate most with journalists. Coverage included The Washington Post, The New York Times, PBS, NPR, The New Republic, CNBC, Democracy Now!The Hill and Al-Jazeera.
